Exterior
Barely run-in with a remarkably low 868 miles from new, this 2016 model year 110 Station Wagon presents beautifully in metallic Montalcino Red. In line with the mileage the paintwork is absolutely first-rate throughout with a deep burgundy hue and no scratches to either the body or wheel arches – our studio photos really don’t do it justice. The black metal bumpers, A bar, and side runners are all immaculate, as are the plastic trims and snorkel. The car is very nicely spec’d with attractive ‘Sawtooth’ alloy wheels in complementing gloss black and the desirable 7-seat option.
Interior
Just as you’d expect, the interior is perfect. Everything looks and feels like new with no marking to any of the commonly worn areas such as the switchgear, gear knob, and steering wheel. All the seats are immaculate and the footwells are still protected by the original rubber Land Rover mats front and rear. Everything works as it should including the air conditioning that was re-gassed alongside the car’s recent service at Land Rover.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This surely unrepeatable example has just returned from a 24k mile inspection and service at Lookers Land Rover in Bishops Stortford where it was given a clean bill of health. All mechanical aspects of the car remain in fine fettle and the cosmetic condition of the engine bay is also excellent with no signs damage or poor repair.
Built within the last few months of ‘classic’ Defender production, freshly serviced, and showing only 868 miles on the odometer, this 2015 110 SW XS is ready for its next adventure – whether that be off-road, on-road, or simply cherished as part of a collection.
