To mark the 50th anniversary of the 911, Porsche produced a limited edition 991 model with styling and design cues that both reflect and respect the original.

Limited to just 1,963 examples worldwide, each one carrying a unique number. DVLA data suggests just over 100 examples were registered in the UK making them a very rare and desirable modern classic.

Based on the RWD Carrera 2 S platform and powered by the 400 hp naturally aspirated 3.8 litre 6 cylinder, along with Sports exhaust, PASM, PTV Plus and Bi Xenon headlights with PDLS. The wider Carrera 4 bodyshell provides the model’s distinctive 44mm broader rear track, giving it a more purposeful stance.

Available in one of three exclusive colours, all feature Fuchs inspired 20 inch Sport Classic alloy wheels and a number of subtle but distinctive exterior details, including chromed front intake slats, a unique front lip spoiler, aluminium-look window trims, rear grille and trim detailing, plus a unique ‘911 50’ logo.

The interior is where the car truly stands out from the norm, blending heritage-inspired design with modern refinement. The first thing that hits you are the front and rear seats in black leather with ‘Pepita’ cloth inserts. The14-way electrically adjustable front seats feature a two-tone embroidered ‘911 50’ logo on the headrests, a detail reflected on the door sill trims. Dark silver contrast stitching highlights the leather, complementing the brushed aluminium trim. The SportDesign steering wheel with PDK paddles sits ahead of the signature five-dial instrument cluster, finished in black with green illumination and white pointers – a subtle but deliberate nod to the earliest 911s.

The finishing touch is a ‘911 50’ badge, mounted just above the glove box, displaying the car’s individual build number and further reinforcing the model’s limited-production status.

This car is number 1,560, a Geyser grey metallic C16 UK RHD example, first registered on 1st April 2014.

Specified with the desirable PCGB ‘50 Years’ Package (P9Q), incorporating Sport Chrono, PCM with navigation, telephone module, heated seats and front and rear ParkAssist – all factory fitted and fully itemised in the build specification, something not consistently found across all examples.

Further options include an electric glass tilt/slide sunroof, digital DAB radio and the Light Design Package, providing subtle ambient interior lighting.

It also benefits from extensive paint protection film (PPF) coverage, applied in 2021 following paint treatment and a ceramic coating.

Six keepers from new, with a comprehensive service history carried out exclusively within the Porsche network in 2016, 2018, 2020, 2022, 2023 (oil service only) and 2024. A fresh service will be completed prior to delivery.
