This striking Speed Yellow 911 was delivered new to Japan in 1994 as a left-hand drive, non-sunroof Carrera 2 manual.
With the factory Clubsport Aerokit likely added in period by Japanese Porsche importer Mizwa, it embodies the unmistakable look of a 993 RS.
Sitting on 18-inch BBS Sport Classic II alloys and benefiting from a purposeful stance courtesy of recently upgraded KW V3 adjustable coilover suspension, it presents with all the visual drama and intent of an RS, with added edge.
On the road, it feels every bit as focused as its appearance suggests. The driving experience is heightened by a Kakimoto Racing exhaust, delivering a sharp, characterful flat-six soundtrack, alongside a CAE performance shifter that adds real mechanical precision to each gear change.
That RS DNA continues inside, thoughtfully reworked with a lightweight, driver-focused approach. FIA-mounted Recaro Pole Position bucket seats with body-coloured backs are complemented by a matching Speed Yellow half cage, an Alcantara-trimmed MOMO steering wheel, lightweight carpets, and pared-back trim. A stereo with Audison speakers is fitted, though the car’s soundtrack is likely to take precedence.
We have handled a number of Japanese-market 911s over the years, and the best examples consistently stand out for their condition. Benefiting from summer use, well-maintained roads, and attentive ownership, this car is no exception. Its overall presentation is notably strong for a 993, supported by its history and evident care throughout its life.
A service with brake fluid and drive belts has been completed here in the Williams Crawford workshop, along with a new battery. The tyres are Michelins all round and measure between 4.5mm and 5mm.
