The SLS AMG GT Roadster represents the final evolution of the open-top SLS, produced in very limited numbers towards the end of the model’s life. With just two cars supplied to the UK, it sits at the very top of the SLS range and is already regarded as one of the most desirable variants.
Finished in Obsidian Black, the exterior is understated and suits the shape of the car perfectly, allowing the details and proportions to do the talking. The contrast with the Exclusive Red diamond-stitched leather interior gives the cabin real presence and a sense of occasion that feels special every time you get in. With only 12,700 miles covered, this is a particularly strong example.
The AMG GT received a number of meaningful upgrades over the standard SLS. Power from the naturally aspirated 6.2 litre V8 was increased to 591 bhp, alongside revised engine mapping and a quicker-shifting AMG Speedshift DCT gearbox. Suspension settings were lowered and retuned, giving the car sharper body control and a more connected feel, while subtle visual changes such as red-painted brake calipers and darkened exterior details gave the GT a more purposeful stance.
The result is a Roadster that feels more focused and more engaging than a standard SLS, without losing the character or usability that makes the car so appealing. As one of the last naturally aspirated AMG V8 models and the final version of the SLS, the GT Roadster has a growing reputation as a modern classic.

The SLS AMG GT Roadster is not simply a convertible SLS, but the most complete and refined version of the car. With its rarity, low mileage and final-generation upgrades, this example stands out as a serious collector’s piece that remains every bit as enjoyable to drive as it is to own.
