Very few 997 Turbo have been cared for to this standard. There are plenty available, but this isn’t one simply passing through a showroom. It’s a car we’ve known and nurtured for years — and one that reminds you just how special a well-sorted Turbo can be. Examples with this level of ongoing investment, preventative maintenance and knowledgeable ownership are genuinely rare.
This is a 911 Turbo where maintenance has always been paramount. Nothing has been deferred or compromised; issues have been addressed as and when required, with a clear focus on long-term health.
The result is a car that drives exactly as a 997 Turbo should.
It is a Porsche we know exceptionally well, having cared for it here at Williams Crawford since January 2017, when the fourth owner purchased it at approximately 50,000 miles.
In addition to regular servicing, brakes and tyres, the car has benefited from significant preventative and restorative work, including renewed suspension components, attention to the coolant and air conditioning systems, and replacement of the complete rear spoiler mechanism.
Most notably, both turbochargers and all associated components were renewed at circa 64,000 miles, a substantial undertaking carried out in our workshop at a cost exceeding £13,500 – an investment that speaks volumes about how this car has been treated.
Arriving in 2006, for the 2007 model year, the 997 Turbo was met with universal acclaim:
Supplied new by OPC Leicester in May 2006, this example is accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this example carries option ‘762’ on its build sheet – Market Launch Vehicle.

With the revered Mezger-derived twin turbo charged 3.6 litre flat six, producing 480 hp and up to 680 Nm of torque, the corners come at you quickly. 193 mph and 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds, it’s a car that means business and delivers on every level.
Driving a 997 Turbo is always an occasion. Whether it’s a simple jaunt to the supermarket for a weekly shop, or a full-on European road trip to the Nürburgring for a few laps, nothing is out of the question or beyond its capabilities.
If you have a box that needs ticking, this Turbo could be the one to do it.
