928 like this are few and far between.

It scores highly in all departments; specification, history, provenance, condition, it’s got it all.

Supplied twice before by Williams Crawford, in 2020 and 2024, to collectors who recognised its many virtues.

Within that time, regardless of just 2,200 miles driven, it has been treated to comprehensive maintenance and refurbishment, with work carried out here at Williams Crawford, and by Gloucester-based company, 928 Specialists Ltd. Detailed invoices total over £17,000, it appears nothing has been overlooked.

Benefiting from full and uninterrupted care throughout its lifetime. A total of 22 services/oil changes, the most recent in July 2025, just 30-or-so miles ago. Cambelts have been changed regularly, and we will carry out a complete timing belt service, including water pump and pulleys, when this car finds a new home.

All of this is supported by a history folder packed full of invoices and receipts. That level of care makes all the difference when buying any classic Porsche, even more important on a 928.

It is a 1991 model, and possibly one of the last S4s registered; February 1993 on a ‘K’ plate.

The first recorded keeper was AFN Ltd, Porsche Centre Guildford, as the first owner returned this 928 after just a few hundred miles, apparently finding it a rather overwhelming experience.

Just a few weeks later, and with 790 miles recorded, it was sold to keeper number two. Garaged, cosseted, and very obviously adored, it was meticulously maintained throughout. Initially with Porsche main dealers, then, by a well-respected London-based independent, known for their 928 expertise. It stayed with this careful owner for the next 27 years, before we were entrusted to find it a new home.

The 928 is a truly unique design; this is one of a few finished in Horizon blue metallic, with the original anodised lightweight, forged alloys. Still looking sharp, it’s uber cool, and stands out amongst the characterless modern options.

Powered by a glorious 5.0 litre V8, this mighty 2+2 Grand Tourer was created and developed to eat up Autobahn miles at an incredible pace, with minimum effort.

The interiors were designed to the highest levels, with the most comfortable seating, soft leather, and excellent ergonomics. This one is particularly good; the Light grey leather seats are edged with ‘Z’ order blue piping, contrasting with the Cobalt blue dash, centre console and door trims. Plus it has air conditioning and an electric sunroof.

In keeping with the original equipment, a retro style Blaupunkt Bremen DAB radio with Bluetooth and media inputs has been installed.

Recent detailed valet with full paint correction and application of ceramic coating.

Supplied with 2 keys, original service book and driver’s manual, tools, spare wheel and compressor, plus our own 6 months Classic Porsche warranty.
