Where Porsche heritage comes to life.

This early Porsche 356 Pre-A is more than just a beautiful classic – it is a genuine piece of Porsche history, reborn with care, purpose, and respect to its remarkable originality.

Discovered in a Texan barn, where it had slumbered since 1978 (with the period license still in the window), this June 1954 bent-screen example displayed an astonishing level of integrity. All major body panels were present and believed original, and there were no signs of crash damage or prior restoration. A true survivor.

Rather than strip away its history, this car was revived with a light touch. Our goal was to create a fully functioning, mechanically sorted 356 that could be confidently enjoyed on the open road – be it for a grand tour, a historic rally, or the revered Mille Miglia.

Refinished in its factory original Turkish red, a shade that complements the elegant curves of the 356. Panel fit and shut lines remain notably good – a testament to its original structure.

Inspired by, and carefully matched to, the original materials uncovered during disassembly, the interior now features pale beige leather with factory-spec corduroy inserts. The radio blanking plate still wears its original trim.

Originally powered by a 1.3-litre engine, this 356 now benefits from a lively 1.6 litre flat-four. With the running gear serviced, rebuilt, or renewed as needed, including brakes and suspension, it is well suited to modern touring and events.

The result is a car that retains the soul of a ‘50s Porsche, but with the usability and reliability demanded by today’s discerning enthusiasts.

Supplied with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Built by Reutter and delivered to the U.S. in June 1954, this car comes has what we believe to be its original transmission and body panels.
