Exterior

One of only 500 cars produced to mark the end of the lauded V8 M3, the LE500 is surely a must-have for any serious M collector. Presented here in gleaming Mineral White metallic, this particular example remains in truly excellent order throughout. Looking every bit the low mileage of only 30k, the paint has a deep gloss across every panel and we’re pleased to report that it’s free from any notable blemishes, dents, or swirl marks. The car’s muscular arches, sculpted bonnet, and carbon fibre roof all remain in great condition, as do the original 19-inch alloys correctly finished in gloss black. The lights and badges are equally well preserved, and all the LE500 dark chrome elements are present including the kidney grille surrounds, side gills, and exhaust tips. This one further benefits from a carbon fibre M Performance rear spoiler and four brand new Bridgestone tyres.

Interior

Reflecting both the car’s low mileage and careful ownership since new, the interior is first-rate. Soft black Novillo leather adorns almost every surface, and other than some expected light surface wear on the driver’s bolster, it’s almost entirely unmarked throughout. The upholstery is lifted further with a contrasting red stitch that extends from the seats, along the centre console and on to the door cards. And, if that wasn’t enough to suggest you’re behind the wheel of something special, the dash panel is laser-etched with “LIMITED EDITION - ONE OF 500”. Looking closer at some of the finer details it really is hard to find fault; the switchgear is unmarked and everything works exactly as it should. Original BMW overmats remain in the footwells and the rear seats look like they’ve never been sat in.

With the special exterior trims and Individual leather interior, the LE500 was already a very nicely appointed car, but clearly whoever spec’d this one wanted every option ticked. As a result, this particular example boasts a very generous equipment list including – but not limited to – Electronic Damper Control (EDC), the Harman/Kardon premium sound system, Comfort Access (keyless entry and start), front and rear parking sensors, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, Professional sat nav, heated front seats, electric folding door mirrors, and adaptive headlights, etc.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

At the heart of the LE500 is BMW’s naturally aspirated 4.0 S65 V8 that produces one hell of a soundtrack as it climbs towards the 8,400rpm redline. Here, the engine bay is fresh and unspoilt, with factory finishes still in place and no signs of damage or modification. The car has always been well maintained by BMW main dealers and trusted marque specialists, and it comes freshly serviced for the new keeper’s peace of mind. It has just returned from Munich Legends who carried out a large service including spark plugs, brake fluid, and rear diff oil; new tyres were also fitted, and four-wheel alignment was carried out. The car was then MOT’d with no advisories, so she’s ready to be driven and enjoyed.

History File

First registered in July 2013, this stunning E92 M3 has covered just 30,610 miles from new. It has only ever been maintained by either BMW or Munich Legends, and the V5C shows only 2 former keepers. The car has just been treated to a comprehensive service, inspection, and MOT, so the lucky new owner can enjoy worry-free motoring without delay. The accompanying history file is complete with the original M3 document pouch including all owner’s manuals, the stamped service booklet, a thick raft of invoices, MOT certificates, a clean HPI report, and a spare remote key.
