Exterior
This striking First Edition coupe is a rare and collectible example, being one of only 200 produced to mark the launch of the second-generation Viper. Finished in metallic Viper Blue with Stone White stripes, it’s a car that looks every bit as bold and aggressive as the performance it delivers. Having covered an amazingly low 6,978 miles from new, it remains in outstanding original condition. Even on close inspection the paintwork has a remarkable depth of shine, the stripes are crisp and clean, and the 18/19-inch wheels look sensational in their factory polished finish.
Interior
The deeply bolstered sports seats are trimmed in black leather with suede centre panels, offering a purposeful yet refined feel. True to its mileage, the interior shows only the lightest of wear including the upholstery, dashboard, and switchgear – all presenting beautifully. Unique to the First Edition model, the steering wheel, gear knob, and hand brake lever are wrapped in blue leather, with complementing blue stitching and embroidery on the seats. Everything works as it should, from the gauges to the air conditioning. The original Viper floor mats are spotless and there are no aftermarket modifications to be found – just a clean, original cockpit in truly excellent condition.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Under the bonnet is that legendary Viper V10, producing 500hp and 525 lb-ft of torque thanks to its monstrous 8.3-litre displacement. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission, and with such low mileage everything remains feeling tight and precise. As with the rest of the car, the engine bay is notably clean and tidy, with all factory stickers and markings still in place – further credit to its limited use and careful ownership since new.
History File
This beautiful low mileage Viper was ordered new in the US before immediately being shipped to the UK where it was registered for the very first time. 19 years and just 2 owners later, it’s still barely run-in with only 6,978 miles under its belt. Clearly a cherished example, the car has always been carefully dry stored when not in use to help preserve its incredible condition. Within the accompanying history file, the original Viper document pouch and owner’s manuals are present along with a raft of invoices, MOT certificates, import paperwork, and the current V5C showing only 1 former keeper. Despite the super low mileage, the original maintenance book is stamped 6 times, the last service having only recently been carried out in May 2025 at 5,610 miles. These early-gen Vipers are increasingly hard to find in this spec and condition – especially with so few owners – making this particular example a very attractive prospect for any discerning muscle car enthusiast or collector.
