  • Completed production in 1970 and first registered in the USA in September 1971, this Porsche boasts matching engine and chassis numbers.
  • Historical records indicate that the car underwent a restoration in 2014/2015.
  • During this time, it was fitted with a 2.4 S engine, while the original 2.2 E engine was carefully crated and retained with the vehicle. Restoration works completed at the time included:
  • Repaint in original Silver Metallic
  • Interior retrim
  • Gearbox rebuild
  • Installation of a sports exhaust
  • Replacement of all chrome fittings
  • In 2015, the car was sold to a new owner who undertook a meticulous restoration to bring it back to factory specification.
  • The original matching-numbers engine was expertly rebuilt by Redtek.
  • New front and rear shock absorbers were installed, and the interior underwent a complete retrim in its original factory colours.
  • Additionally, the original Recaro sports seats were re-fitted.
  • The Porsche was enjoyed and regularly maintained until 2024, when ownership transferred once again to the current keeper. Over the past year alone, more than £6,000 has been invested into servicing and remedial work, including recently fitted new brake discs all round and machined hubs.
  • Today, the car is an absolute joy to drive—tight, responsive, and surprisingly quick.
