Exterior

Finished in metallic Titanium Silver this pre-facelift 325Ci Sport cabrio presents in excellent original condition. Even on close inspection the paintwork retains a deep and even lustre with few signs of age, testament to the car’s low mileage and careful ownership since new. The M Sport styling package includes more aggressive bumpers, side skirts, and Shadowline exterior trim giving the whole car a sharper, more purposeful stance. The dark blue electric roof operates smoothly and remains in fine order with no notable marks or discolouration. Completing the look are 18-inch MV2 alloy wheels, all in excellent kerb-free condition with matching premium tyres.

Interior

The sports seats are trimmed in black leather, all presenting very nicely indeed. While not entirely unmarked, finer details such as the interior plastics remain to a good standard, and everything works as it should including the air conditioning, electric seat adjustments, and the original BMW Business cassette radio. The multifunction M Sport steering wheel feels great in hand with an excellent grain to the leather. The footwell carpets are still protected by the original BMW mats, and the boot area is also clean and tidy with the tool kit and warning triangle both present and correct.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

At the heart of this E46 is BMW’s silky-smooth 2.5-litre M54 straight-six. It’s paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission offering both relaxed cruising and plenty of performance when called upon. With only 36k miles under its belt, the engine bay is clean and unmodified with no signs of damage or previous poor repair. The car benefits from a solid BMW/marque specialist service history, and for the new keeper’s peace of mind it comes freshly inspected by our trusted local classic car workshop.

History File

First registered in May 2001 this is a fantastic early example of the increasingly collectable E46 M Sport Convertible. With its blend of timeless design, straight-six performance, and the premium feel of BMW’s golden era, this 325Ci Sport is a very usable modern classic. All the original manuals are present including the service book that’s stamped with only BMW or BMW specialist entries (see below). The last service was completed less than 500 miles ago, and most recently the car has been fully inspected with new rear shock absorbers and top mounts fitted at the current mileage. A selection of invoices and the current V5C showing only 3 former keepers are also included.
