Exterior

Of the 785 M5 Competitions produced in right-hand drive it’s thought that only 250 were facelift (LCI) models, and this particular car is one such example. Presenting in understated yet elegant Singapore Grey the paintwork has a very deep youthful shine – our studio photos really don’t do it justice. All the trims, badges, and lights are first-rate but there is a small indentation at the bottom of the front bumper and some kerb marking is visible on the wheels. The condition of the car is otherwise very impressive and, coupled with the intoxicating V8 soundtrack, it certainly has a commanding on the road.

Interior

The multifunction M Sport seats are upholstered in soft Merino leather, and with all the electric adjustments they provide superior levels of comfort and support. The centre console and door cards are also trimmed in black leather and other than a few small marks around the touch points everything remains in fine order. The cabin is lifted further with contrasting Aluminium trim, an Alcantara steering wheel, and Alcantara headlining. The seats are heated front and rear with some other nice factory options including a reversing camera, electric bootlid, and a Harman/Kardon surround sound system.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

With a mighty 575bhp from its 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8, the Competition Pack M5 can reach 0-60mph in little over 4 seconds, which is no mean feat considering the F10’s near 2-tonne kerb weight. With a respectable 81k miles under its belt this example has been maintained exclusively within the BMW main dealer network all its life, with all services recorded on the car’s on-board computer. The last service included new spark plugs and a brake fluid change, and it was completed by Group 1 BMW Farnborough in March 2025 at 80,254 miles.

History File

Supplied new by Westerly BMW Exeter in early 2014, this cracking M5 was originally used as a demonstrator vehicle. It has now driven 81k miles in the hands of 6 registered keepers and it’s accompanied by a full BMW main dealer service history (see below). Included in the paperwork is a spare remote key, a selection of invoices and MOT certificates, a clean HPI report, and the current V5C showing 5 former keepers.
