The Aston Martin Vanquish marked the end of an era for the firm, the last hand built model constructed at the Works in Newport Pagnell and launched in late 2000, the muscular new ‘GT’ car was powered by a 6.0L V12 producing near 500bhp and offered scintillating performance clothed with unmistakable Aston Martin styling

Following the tradition of its predecessors, the Vanquish was a natural car of choice for secret agent James Bond and its screen debut premiered in cinemas in late November 2002, featuring in the blockbuster ‘Die Another Day’ with Pierce Brosnan at the wheel of a heavily modified and rocket laden example

The Vanquish S was introduced in late 2004 and saw an increase in power to 520bhp plus subtle revisions to the suspension, brakes and styling, making it a genuine 200 MPH car. Total production of the Vanquish was only 2589 cars from 2001-2007, of which 1086 were ‘S’ models

This late model Vanquish S was specified from new with desirable Onyx Black coachwork, Obsidian Black hides with Platinum interior veeners and ‘2+2’ seating. Supplied new to the first owner via Grange Of Exeter on 11th November 2006, this Vanquish S is one of the last models constructed prior to the final batch of fifty ‘Ultimate Edition’ models and benefits from the revised centre console that houses the larger screen satellite navigation and stereo system
