About This Example
Green over tan. Understated, but deliberate.
Some combinations just feel right – and in the world of performance SUVs, few are as seldom-seen or as visually striking as this one. Originally specified in Forest Green Metallic, the owner’s vision was clear: a deep, heritage-rich green over a classic tan interior. But in 2023, amidst internal delays with Porsche’s oversubscribed Paint to Sample programme, the build was paused. Forest Green was pulled from the spec.
Rather than compromise, an elegant solution emerged. The car was re-ordered in Chromite Black Metallic, and finished with a bespoke application of Diamond Green Paint Protection Film – an exclusive PPF that only works over black paint, designed to refract light into a factory-like green metallic hue. The result? A shimmering, dark green finish with real depth and texture – strikingly close to Forest Green Metallic, but with the added benefit of full paint protection from day one.
Every exterior detail has been considered. The Carbon Design Package adds subtle contrast through carbon SportDesign mirror caps, a rear diffuser, and front bumper inlet surrounds. High-gloss black brake calipers sit behind 22-inch 911 Turbo Design wheels, reinforcing the car’s understated presence. Privacy glass, an Exclusive Design fuel filler cap, and the deletion of the ‘GTS’ script on the doors further refine the look. Together, these touches form part of an options list totalling close to £20,000 – elegant, cohesive, and quietly intentional.
Inside, it’s all about tone and texture. Truffle Brown Club Leather and Alcantara roof lining wraps the cabin in rich, natural warmth – a rare choice on a GTS, and all the more appealing for it. High-gloss black inlays on the dashboard, doors, and centre console have all been protected with precision-applied interior PPF, preserving their sheen and resisting the wear that comes with use over time. Matching seat belts in Truffle Brown, Porsche crests on the headrests, and the leather-wrapped steering column are just some of the finer details that bring everything together.
Comfort and refinement are paramount. 14-way electric Comfort Seats feature both ventilation and massage functions, complemented by four-zone climate control, ambient lighting, electric rear sun-blinds, an ioniser, and a heated steering wheel. Audiophiles will appreciate the BOSE Surround Sound System, while ParkAssist with Surround View, Lane Change Assist, and a full Head-Up Display enhance ease of use on every journey.
Mechanically, this GTS benefits from some of the most desirable performance options available. Rear-Axle Steering improves agility at low speeds and stability at high speeds, while adaptive air suspension with PASM ensures the perfect balance between control and ride comfort. An electrically extending tow-bar system, which was purely specified for a back rack, and loadspace management add practicality without compromising its dynamic intent.
This is a one-owner example, maintained from new by the supplying dealer; Porsche Centre Guildford, with its last service carried out in February at 15,466 miles. For complete peace of mind, it still benefits from its manufacturer’s Warranty until April 2026. As shown in the pictures – it’s also supplied with a genuine Porsche Roof Box, for extra storage on those longer trips.
An effortlessly cool take on the Cayenne GTS Coupé – uniquely specified, beautifully executed, and presented in one of the most tasteful colour-ways we’ve seen on the model.
About This Model
The GTS badge has long held a special place in the Porsche line-up – born in the ‘60s with the 904 Carrera GTS, revived on road cars in the early 2000s, and since then reserved for the sweet spot between outright performance and everyday usability. Applied to the Cayenne, it signals a sharper chassis, greater driver engagement, and subtle visual intent without stepping into full Turbo territory.
The third-generation Cayenne, introduced in 2018, brought a new level of refinement and dynamic capability to the SUV segment. It was lighter, more tech-forward, and underpinned by the Volkswagen Group’s MLB Evo platform – shared with the Lamborghini Urus, Audi Q8, and Bentley Bentayga. But as always, Porsche’s engineering made it feel distinctly its own. For the first time, the Cayenne was offered in a fastback-inspired Coupé body style – lower, more sculpted, and undeniably more athletic in silhouette.
The GTS Coupé sits just below the Turbo, but for many, it’s the enthusiast’s choice. In 2020, Porsche returned the GTS to V8 power, and the 2023 model continues with the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged unit producing 490PS and 660Nm of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission and active all-wheel drive, but it’s the chassis tuning that makes the biggest difference. Lowered PASM adaptive air suspension, dynamic engine mounts, torque vectoring, and a standard sports exhaust give it a character that’s far more agile than its size suggests.
Visually, the GTS adopts a restrained, monochrome aesthetic – black trim, tinted lights, unique wheels, and a subtle aggression that never shouts. Inside, it’s upholstered with GTS-specific accents and contrast stitching – It still does luxury, just through the lens of a sports car maker.
