From Aston Martin to Paris and Beyond

Delivered by Cyril Williams Motors Limited in 1955, this Aston Martin DB2/4 found its first home with Eric Warman Esq., a director at Andrew Dakers Limited publishing house. Fastidiously maintained with 49 documented visits to Aston Martin, it received an engine replacement in 1959 and a factory repaint in Orient Blue by 1962. By 1964, it had confidently completed 55,336 miles.

In 1998, the car moved to Paris, under the care of notable figures from Conran Design and Cartier, who preserved its legacy while enhancing its charm. Returning to Britain in 2004, it was sold at the prestigious Bonhams Goodwood sale, beginning a new chapter with Mr. G Thomas, who invested significantly in its restoration, ensuring both aesthetics and performance were flawless.

Attention to Detail: Restoration and Upgrades

Mr. G Thomas’s stewardship saw the DB2/4 undergo a £40,000 restoration. Key updates included a reshaped MK3-inspired bonnet, hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel, complete rewiring, and the addition of a new blue hood. These thoughtful improvements maintain its usability without compromising originality.

Designed for Adventure

With 2+2 seating and foldable rear seats, this DB2/4 is ideal for family road trips or extended journeys. It embodies the perfect balance of sophistication and functionality, making it a practical yet luxurious choice for memorable drives.
