Exterior
Having resided on the unsalted roads of Japan since new, this handsome 4-litre Wrangler presents in 100% rust-free condition including the underside which is one of the cleanest we’ve seen. The body is very straight and the paintwork has a good shine, but what really sets this one apart are all the exterior upgrades including wider arches, rugged metal bumpers, tubular side steps, satin black wheels, and chunky all-terrain tyres. Additional spec includes a fully operational electric winch, uprated shocks, a stainless steel exhaust, LED headlights, and an LED light bar. The factory hardtop also presents in fine order and can be removed should the new owner wish to enjoy some open top motoring this summer.
Interior
The interior of the Jeep remains in fine order. The original cloth upholstery is undamaged and benefits from a full set of seat covers to complement the olive paintwork. The dash, fascia, and centre console are all very tidy and the original leather steering wheel looks and feels like new. The air conditioning has been checked and we’re pleased to report that it’s blowing ice-cold. We’re also glad to see the factory CD player still fitted as these are commonly swapped out for aftermarket head units. In keeping with the rugged exterior of the car, the gear selector knobs have been upgraded with chunkier metal items, and in the footwells original Jeep mats are retained.
History File
First registered in June 2006 this one has now driven just under 89k miles from new. It was imported by us from Japan earlier this year and comes freshly serviced, MOT’d, and fully UK-registered with all taxes paid on arrival. Having recently been inspected by our trusted classic car workshop the mechanics of the car are in fine order and everything works as it should. In the accompanying History File, the lucky new owner will receive all the original Jeep handbooks, a spare key, the current advisory-free MOT certificate (valid until May 2026), and the UK registration certificate showing 0 former keepers.
