- Originally a 1982 LHD example, now registered on a 1973 UK chassis and comprehensively rebuilt by Kingsley Cars Ltd for rally and fast road use.
- The build combined a full strip-down and mechanical overhaul with carefully chosen upgrades, aimed at long-distance durability and ease of maintenance.
- Completed in 2023 with accompanying invoices.
Chassis & Drivetrain
- Chassis inspected and repaired as required
- Kingsley fast road suspension with polybushes throughout
- Bowler Engineering 24-spline half shafts and strengthened differentials
- Rebuilt axles, upgraded swivel assemblies, HD bearings and seals
- Kingsley upgraded brakes: 6-pot front, 4-pot rear calipers
- New brake lines (metal and flexi), fuel lines, fuel tank and sender
- Sump and steering guard (bash plate), strengthened fuel tank guard
- Heavy duty rock sliders fitted both sides
Engine & Transmission
- Fully rebuilt Rover V8 enlarged to 4600cc with top hat liners
- SU carburettors retained with OEM-style presentation
- Stainless steel manifolds and Kingsley exhaust system
- Strengthened 5-speed manual gearbox and uprated clutch
- High-capacity radiator and twin 330W electric cooling fans
Interior & Equipment
- Fixed bucket seats (seat choice allowance included), OMP 4-point harnesses
- Four-point rear roll cage with spare wheel brackets (x2)
- High-lift jack mounting system with brace and chocks
- Full cabin sound deadening (floor, doors, roof, bonnet)
- Brantz International 3 Pro GPS rally timer
