This 930 Turbo isn’t looking back – it’s all about the now
If you want boost so wild it’ll make you laugh out loud and grin all the way up the road, you’re in the right place. If you’re looking for factory-correct and concours-perfect, this isn’t your car.
Packing a huge turbo charger, a Kokeln Racing intercooler, and an exhaust system with Billy Boat Tri-Flow twin tailpipes, this 930 delivers the kind of punch that made the 911 Turbo infamous – and then some. And the G50 5-speed gearbox upgrade is the perfect partner.
This Porsche demands attention. Further non-standard additions work well. 18-inch Speedline Alessio 3-piece alloys fill the wide arches, 993 Cup mirrors, a front strut brace, Momo Race steering wheel and a black interior with recovered front seats. All upgrades focused on driving, not polishing.
This isn’t a garage queen — and that’s exactly the point. It’s not flawless. It’s not perfect. There’s very little history or paperwork, but when you’re flying up the road on full boost, none of that matters.
Our inspection suggests a corrosion and accident-free US example, 1987 model, finished in Grand Prix White with an older repaint. Previously owned by a prominent New York family from 1997, it crossed to the UK via a family connection in 2020 and was registered here in 2022.
Before registration, it received serious attention: over £24,000 spent at a respected UK independent specialist, including an extensive engine rebuild and a new clutch.
You could further upgrade and improve, or just drive and enjoy it – the choice is yours.
A CARFAX report and current V5 shows 3 owners in the US and 1 in the UK.
The odometer reads 73,049 miles, but supporting documents suggest this hasn’t increased in several years.
