Based on the DB9, and taking centre stage as the flagship of Aston Martin (excluding the one-77 of course), the DBS at the time took over where the first generation Vanquish left off. Being lighter, more powerful and far more driver focused than its DB9 stablemate, and with added aero by way of front bumper, side skirts and rear diffuser, the DBS in our opinion stands as one of the very best modern Astons available today, and has all the ingredients for a sure fire future classic.

Powered by the mighty hand built 6.0 litre V12 Aston Martin power plant, putting out 510bhp, a listed 0-60 dash of 4.3 seconds and a top speed in excess of 190mph it also provides the bark to accompany its bite with one of the most beautiful exhaust notes imaginable. The overall result of the DBS is a driver focused and extremely comfortable GT car. A truly incredible package that also has the bragging rights of two James Bond films to cement its status.

In 2010, the Carbon Black Edition was introduced and was limited to just one supplied car per dealer - it featured Carbon Black metallic paint, Obsidian Black leather interior

The interior hosts gloss black inlays and carbon-fibre accompanying trim, contrast stitching, and ‘DBS’ lettering on the seats.
