Speedbroker are proud to present this beautiful 1972 MK III Jensen Interceptor for sale. With arguably the greatest name ever bestowed upon an automobile, the Jenson Interceptor, firmly cemented in car culture needs little introduction among fans of this iconic formula.

Manufactured for a decade from 1966, the handbuilt Interceptor (intended to be a blend of pure muscle and Grand Touring) was assembled at Jenson's Birmingham plant, with the body designed by legendary designers Carrozzeria Touring, who had been responsible for penning dozens of quintessential vehicles, such as the Ferrari 166M, Lamborghinis 350/400GT, and the famed Aston Martin DB4.

Think of the Jenson Interceptor as the British answer to the Dodge Charger. The recipe? Strikingly beautiful yet aggressive styling with a 383cui Chrysler B Mopar engine.

This particular example is a series 3, registered in early 1972, finished in Royal Blue, with blue interior, it stands out in exceptional order throughout and a credit to its former keepers. Low ownership with only 3 previous custodians.

Overall, an exceptional example. Fascinating history, with low and long term ownership, finished in a desirable colour and cosmetically and mechanically sound, with the bodywork straight and true with excellent paintwork and no signs of corrosion. Chrome work is bright - with some signs of pitting - but generally good. Interior solid and bolsters good- could benefit from connolising / colour work but very good for its age.
