It’s not easy to put into words just how good a Porsche Boxster like this is. A well-sorted example is hard to beat. The mid-engined layout gives it superb balance, 245 hp is more than enough for real driving thrills, and it’s easy-going enough to use every day. And when the sun’s out, that open top adds a whole new layer of enjoyment.

The first owner collected this 2.7 litre, 5 speed manual 987 directly from Stuttgart in May 2007.

Presented in bright Cobalt blue metallic with a dark Metropole blue convertible roof. The interior is Ocean blue and features Alcantara seat centres.

Wheels have been upgraded from the original spec to 19 inch Carrera Classic alloys.

Factory options include cruise control, air-conditioning, on-board computer, Porsche CDR-24 radio/CD with additional 6 disc CD auto changer, and the Porsche Sound Package.

Just four keepers in total, the last having purchased the car from us here at Williams Crawford in November 2017. Since then, it has averaged fewer than 1,650 miles per year.

Well maintained with regular servicing — 8 stamps in the book, including the two most recent carried out in our own workshop.
