The basis of this car is an early (1987) Land Rover Defender, but this example has been customised and enhanced in recent years to create a truly unique example, featuring a Range Rover V8 engine and automatic gearbox. Extensively recommissioned over the last 3 years with the current owner, with well over £20,000 spent in that time (invoices present).
The chassis and bulkhead are both believed to be in strong condition, with no attention required. A full new interior with soft finishings throughout, including recovered dashboard and centre console, heated front seats and rear bench seats.
The Exmoor Trim soft top can be rolled up to better enjoy warmer weather or indeed removed altogether for open-top driving.
The vehicle will also be sold with a body coloured hard top. Currently the vehicle is LEZ exempt, but will also be ULEZ exempt in 3 years time when it will become eligible for Historic Vehicle tax status, which means no road tax payable, and also any Greater London journeys can be completed without incurring the ULEZ charge.
Any inspection is of course welcome.
Obviously, there is more than can be included into a description, but the suspension, electrics, brakes, engine, drivetrain, body and interior have all benefitted from improvement or renewal.
