The successor to the E-type, the Jaguar XJS, was a huge leap forward in design and tastes for the Jaguar brand, moving with the design initiatives of the 1970s and displaying new principles of aerodynamics, being originally penned by legendary designer and engineer Malcolm Sayer - a key part of the conception of the E type. The XJS was first released in 1975 with the ‘HE’ (high efficiency) upgrades first appearing in 1981. 

But buyers had to wait till 1988 for a FULL CONVERTIBLE offering as this car is. Complete with a strengthened body shell, and several upgrades, low mileage, original V12 convertibles are now very desirable among classic car collectors and Jaguar enthusiasts.
