1969 Jaguar E-Type

A UK-supplied right-hand-drive example finished in its original Light Blue over Dark Blue trim, just as it left the factory in July 1969. This particular car, chassis number 1R 40809, retains its original engine, body, and gearbox numbers, all as confirmed by its official Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate. The car was dispatched new via Henlys of London and first registered as WVG 859H in Somerset. Remarkably, it is accompanied by full documentation from new, including the original sales invoice issued by Harry Dando on 31st July 1969, forming part of a comprehensive history file that charts its ownership and maintenance across more than five decades.

Significantly, this is the 11th E-Type to receive the sought-after ‘Eagle’ treatment, completed in 2004 at a cost exceeding £32,000.
