Exterior

A cossetted example since new, the condition of this low mileage C55 AMG wagon is excellent. The Brilliant Silver paintwork has a deep and even lustre throughout with very few imperfections or defects to report. There are no off-colour panels from previous poor repair work, and the bi-xenon headlights are lovely and clear. Entirely unmodified, the car sits on its original 18-inch twin-spoke alloy wheels, all in perfect condition with matching Goodyear tyres. Even on close inspection the badges, trims and seals are first-rate, and there is no corrosion in any of the common W203 weak spots. The factory spec’d front and rear parking sensors work perfectly, and we’re pleased to report that the original AMG exhaust is still fitted. An outstanding UK-supplied example looking every bit the low mileage of only 57k.

Interior

The fantastic original condition continues inside. The fine Nappa leather has worn extremely well and remains feeling soft with a perfect matte sheen. The driver’s bolster is barely wrinkled and all the electric adjustments operate correctly. The rim of the steering wheel is immaculate with an excellent grain to the leather, and glancing across the dash all the plastics, switchgear, and wood inlays are free from scratches or wear. The footwell carpets are still protected by original AMG overmats, the back seats have clearly seen little use, and the boot carpet is unmarked. All in all, a highly impressive and original interior, the only non-standard item being a touchscreen head unit integrated seamlessly into the dash. 

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

Hand-assembled by a single dedicated AMG technician, the C55’s naturally aspirated 5.4-litre V8 produces an impressive 361hp at 5,750rpm. This particular example is accompanied by a complete maintenance record with 7 Mercedes-Benz main dealer stamps plus 5 from one highly regarded marque specialist. The mechanics of the car remain in fine fettle following a recent service and inspection carried out in February 2025. Included in this work was a diff oil change and gearbox service with new brake pads and discs fitted at the rear.

History File

This beautiful yet unassuming V8 AMG was registered to its first keeper in January 2005. For the next 12 years the car was serviced and maintained solely within the Mercedes-Benz dealer network before being looked after by one marque specialist from 2019-present (see below). The accompanying History File comprises the original Mercedes document pouch with all handbooks, the original service book (fully stamped), an additional service book with the last 2 stamps, a raft of invoices, a clean HPI report, spare remote key, and the current V5C showing 3 former keepers.
