2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi (WR1)

Speedbroker are delighted to offer for sale a wonderful, collector quality unmolested Impreza ‘WR1’ to the market, being offered with exceptionally low mileage, complete with a comprehensive history folder and presented in immaculate order throughout.

Subaru Technica international (STi) ordered a limited edition of only 1000 Japanese MY04 WRX STI's with DCCD (Driver Control Centre Differentia) that were exported to foreign markets to celebrate victory in the 2003 WRC Drivers' Championship - with Petter Solberg behind the wheel. With 500 of these arriving in the UK and being further fettled by Prodrive they became the fastest production Impreza to date with 320bhp. The car is capable of a 0-60 dash of under 4.3 seconds, making it very fast EVEN by today’s standards. The WR1 has a distinctive look that sets it apart from the rest of the line up with includes striking Ice Blue metallic paintwork, PFF7 Prodrive alloy wheels in gunmetal, and an aluminium mesh front grill. They were also fitted with Pirelli p-zero tyres, and an uprated Prodrive ecu and exhaust.

The overall condition of this car we can only describe as exceptional throughout considering the age and the miles. The interior being completely original including mats and without any rips or tears or damage to trims. The vehicle still has its original stereo in perfect working order. The exterior presents with only very few blemishes / stone chips, and some heat blistering to the bonnet scoop, but all in total keeping with the vehicles history and usage, overall its lustrous paintwork presents incredibly. Mechanically the car drives beautifully. With the mileage, provenance and condition this vehicle in our opinion this really does offer a prime proposition for an enthusiast, collector or even as a future asset/ investment proposition.
