Zesty classic seeks motorsport thrills.

With a powerful motor, perfectly balanced mid-engine layout, low centre of gravity and carefully considered suspension upgrades, this 914 is all ready to have a go.

Classic rally, hillclimb, track day, car meet, Sunday cruise; it’s a great alternative to a 911 or transaxle Porsche.

Rarely seen in the UK in any shape or form, this homage to the factory-built racers of the 1970’s goes as well as it looks.

US supplied, this 914 arrived from Texas to UK shores in February 2016.

Already sporting the 1980 3.0 SC engine with JE pistons and some type of sport cam, the original 2.0 litre 4 cylinder had been swapped out some time in the 1980’s.

From the moment it arrived, work began to transform it. Over the following 3.5 years, the 914 slowly evolved into this exceptional GT styled pocket rocket we see today.

Accompanied by an abundance of invoices and receipts illustrating the vast amount of time and expenditure afforded to this project.

Bodywork and paint were managed by Richard ‘Moggy’ Morgan; now famous for his Electric Classic Cars company and Vintage Voltage TV show, this 914 was his final petrol project.

This 914 offers a very engaging drive. It is responsive, quick, rewarding and, most of all, terrific fun.
