1971 Volkswagen Beetle

Show standard, Fully rebuilt with air ride by Limebug.

A sensational Volkswagen Beetle, meticulously restored by the team at Limebug. Finished in gorgeous Bordeaux Red paintwork with a full custom interior in Biscuit mohair by bespoke interior specialists Kens Customs. The engine and gearbox have been rebuilt and the front end has been fitted with Limebug Gen II front air suspension and a Jawbreaker narrowed beam with titan through rods, reconditioned trailing arms with long travel ball joints, narrowed tie rods with Ultrarm and 2.5 inch dropped spindles. Also benefiting from a new disc brake set up on the front and drum brakes on the rear. The car rides on detailed chrome and black staggered Fuchs, wrapped in a set of 195/65 at the back and 135/70 fronts. An Airkewld rear air ride set up was installed, so the whole car can be adjusted using the 4 way control system neatly installed in the dash. This Beetle benefits from a rebuilt 1600cc engine and a rebuilt gearbox. The car has covered no more than 500 miles since rebuild. The vehicle was one of the original Beetles purchased at Limebug and was used as a showcase for the business, being displayed at the Volksworld show in 2022. Due to expansion of the business the car was sold last year and is now ready for a new owner. There is very little paperwork with the car but its easy to see the quality of the work.
