2002 Aston Martin Vanquish, presented in the beautiful colour combination of Forest Green metallic over Green leather interior. The vanquish was the last model produced by Aston Martin at their Newport Pagnell works before production moved to Gaydon. These Ian Callum designed cars, whilst signalling a new age design concept for Aston Martin, were also the very last of the hand assembled cars.
This exceptional example was registered on the 1st October 2002 and was maintained by Aston Martin Works at Newport Pagnell until 2011. Fastidiously maintained by marque specialists Bamford Rose thereafter, this car has wanted for little. A full engine out re-seal was carried out at 26k miles and the coil packs were also changed shortly before that. Numerous invoices accompany the file, and following a 3 year period of storage we have just had Bamford Rose supply and fit new fuel pumps. Like many early Vanquish, the later S gearbox upgrades have also been completed, making the gear changes faster and smoother than would originally have been the case. This semi-automated gearbox is truly wonderful to use, and nothing like as compromised as the motoring press made it out to be when the car was launched. A true future classic and a superb long term investment, this car wants for nothing but to be appreciated and used!
