Speedbroker are delighted to offer this wonderful 2001 Ferrari 360 Modena ‘Challenge Stradale’ recreation, which in our personal opinion offers collectors and enthusiasts of the marque and model an opportunity to acquire a very well maintained, incredibly aesthetically pleasing tribute at a fraction of the cost to a genuine CS, having been built to exacting standards

The 360 Modena replaced the Ferrari F355 and proved to be a big step forward for the Modena based supercar manufacturer. Produced between 1999-2004 it was built with an all new space frame for vastly improved rigidity and strength, yet due to the use of aluminium it came in almost 30% lighter than it’s predecessor. With its beautiful and sleek Pininfarina designed body it was a vehicle that drafted in a generational shift in Ferrari design.

The 3.6 Litre F131 Tipo V8 uses titanium rods and a flat plane crank shaft, which first and foremost kicks out one of the most distinctive and best sounding notes in automotive history, but secondly produced 395 PS and propelled the car to 60mph in 4.5 seconds.

This particular example is exceptionally special. Having been in mainland Europe until 2017, it came to the UK in 2017 to a collector. It then underwent extensive works and upgrades including a full respray, (in original Grigio Titanio - the current Rosso is a wrap), Challenge Stradale seats, wheels, body kit and much more, until 2019 when it changed hands to the custody of our vendor - who himself is an Italian car specialist.

In summary, a 2001 Ferrari 360 Modena LHD F1, having undergone an intense and costly overhaul to create a beautiful tribute to the Challenge Stradale, using parts incredibly hard to source and the cost of which would amount to tens of thousands of pounds. Well maintained with belt changes and maintenance works such as common issues like manifold and gaskets in recent few years. Technically you could buy a non-converted car for less money, but the time and investment taken to create this makes this a very interesting prospect for a fan of the Challenge Stradale to have a car which looks and sounds almost identical to the real McCoy at a fraction of the price. Couple this with the increasing interest among collectors and enthusiasts looking at this generation of Ferrari with an ever speculatory mindset.
