This example was originally produced and delivered to British Leyland in New York, USA, in 1970, then registered in Cromwell, Connecticut by its first owner.

The car was converted into this “fast-road” specification in 2007, including the addition of a Series 1 bonnet arrangement and Minilite style alloy wheels, before its arrival to the UK in 2011.

In 2016, later works were completed by The Carriage Company including having the engine rebuilt completely with the addition of triple Weber carburettors and a free-flow manifold and exhaust.

This E-Type was designed as a gentleman’s racer and fast road car, and performs brilliantly as both. It's been consistently well maintained, with very occasional use over the years on track and road.
