87k Miles, Rare colour, 7 Owners, Full History

A stunning mid 80’s Porsche 911, looking particularly sharp and benefiting from a full glass-out repaint to a high standard in its original rare colour of Garnet Red Metallic. Originally supplied by Motortune Ltd in London in March 1985, this matching numbers, home market RHD car benefits from full service history and some rare options including cruise control and air conditioning which has recently been recommissioned. A very genuine, solid example which has never been welded. The iconic burgundy interior presents beautifully and is in virtually unmarked condition. The car starts and drives superbly, with the 915 gearbox a pleasure to use. The clutch is smooth, brakes are great and the car still feels very tight and precise on the road. The car received significant investment around 2016 when a full repaint was carried out, including all new rubbers and many other parts refurbished or replaced. The car has comprehensive service history and was last serviced in August 2024 by Jaz Porsche, just over 100 miles have been covered since. The original Fuchs wheels are in great shape and are fitted with recent Continental tyres all round. The car starts on the button, engine pulls very well and sounds great thanks to a stainless Dansk sports exhaust. It is not dropping any oil whatsoever and holds great oil pressure. A huge history file accompanies the car, documenting all services and invoices for work carried out over the years, as well as MOT’s to verify the mileage and details documenting past owners. On top of this the original stamped service book and drivers manual are present along with 2 keys. Overall this is a fantastic, very usable example of an already much loved 911 in a rare colour, which is still appreciating financially and is now ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
