1994 Porsche 993 Carrera RS 3.8 Homage

104k Miles, Rebuilt 3.8 RS spec engine, Many original factory parts

We are thrilled to present for sale this breathtaking 993 Carrera RS Homage. Finished in Midnight Blue over a Black & Grey leather interior with a set of genuine 18″ Speedline three-piece alloy wheels to complete the look. Based on a solid Carrera 2 manual coupe, this homage now benefits from a recent comprehensive engine rebuild to 3.8 RS spec. With all work carried out in 2022 by renowned Porsche specialists JAZ Porsche. This work included sourcing 3.8 barrels and pistons, Schrick high performance camshafts, new oil pump, bearings, chains, intake and exhaust valves, cooling fan, ARP head studs, RS engine mounts and an RS flywheel and clutch kit as well as many components vapour blasted and all tinware powder coated. Invoices on file totalling £30,000 for the engine. The car was then mapped correctly by Chipwizards which resulted in an output of 330bhp at 6000rpm and 311lb/ft at 5000rpm.

Cosmetically the car presents beautifully, with a full glass out repaint recently completed by Riviera Autobody Ltd, specialists in Porsche body and paintwork. This work included a sunroof & washer jet delete. The freshly re-trimmed bucket seats which have been moulded from a genuine RS set & rear carpets have been beautifully finished in factory correct colours by Dave the Trimmer. Many genuine factory RS parts have been utilised in this build, including the correct RS body kit supplied by Porsche, RS steering wheel & gear knob, correct genuine Speedline split rim wheels with Michelin PS2 tyres all round, lightweight side and rear glass, big red brake upgrade, fully adjustable Bilstein B16 PSS10 coilovers with Rennline adjustable top mounts. The overall result is a very capable and usable tribute to the legendary 993 Carrera RS model which is now ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next owner at a fraction of the cost of an original RS. Invoices on file for close to £30,000 for the engine rebuild alone, along with a folder of service history going back to 2001. The car was previously registered in Jersey and first registered with the DVLA in May 1999. The original owners manual & book pack are also present.
