Exterior

Black over black, one of our favourite colour combos for a 911 of this vintage. Defying both its years and mileage the condition of the car is excellent. The paintwork has just been treated to a full machine polish by our in-house detailer resulting in a fantastic swirl-free shine throughout. An honest dusting of light frontal stone chips is visible but not immediately obvious, and she’s perfectly straight along both sides. The headlights are crystal-clear and free from discolouration, and none of the plastic trims or seals are showing their age. The 18-inch wheels are also immaculate with matching Pirelli rubber all round. A very sharp example, ready to be enjoyed.

Interior

The cabin is really well presented with soft ruffled leather hinting at only light use. The upholstery is still notably supple with a nice shine-free satin finish, and the electric adjustments all work perfectly. The leather on the steering wheel retains a fine texture and feels particularly good in hand, the same is true of the gear knob. Dark headlining and black carpets maintain an intimate atmosphere in the cabin while a few aluminium details add a welcome contrast. The original PCM2 head unit is pleasingly still fitted with the telephone handset and CD storage also present and correct.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

The twin-turbocharged ‘Mezger’ flat-six is as potent as ever, and with the sought-after manual transmission it’s undoubtedly the driver’s choice. There are 14 stamps in the original service book with a stack of additional invoices for other important maintenance items such as new AC condensers, Bilstein shocks, a new clutch, rear main seal, and reconditioned turbochargers (see below). The last service was carried out in June 2024 at 74,387 miles, and more recently the steering rack pipes have been replaced.

History File

This fabulous manual example was first registered in April 2003. In the hands of 7 registered keepers it has now driven only 74k miles from new. The accompanying History File comprises the original Porsche leather document with all handbooks, the original service book with 14 stamps (8 Porsche and 6 specialist), a thick raft of invoices, MOT certificates, a spare remote key, and the current V5C showing 6 former keepers.
