83K Miles, 3.9 Hartech engine rebuild, over £30K spent on upgrades!

A stunning Porsche 996.2 Carrera 2 manual coupe, which has been tastefully upgraded and improved in recent years, with over £30,000 worth of invoices on file. The main element to this program of improvements is the extensive engine rebuild which was enlarged to 3.9 litre by Hartech, one of the UK’s most well respected engine builders. Now with 83,000 miles from new and in outstanding condition throughout. A factory non sunroof Carrera 2 is the perfect starting point for a project such as this. Finished in flawless Basalt black paintwork with black leather interior which has also been upgraded with elements of alcantara. The car was sent to Hartech to have the enlarged capacity engine conversion at the end of 2019, under 5k miles ago. The total bill from Hartech was just under £23,000 and included a Gripper LSD and Deep Motorsport sump. Power run on file shows 351bhp and 318 lbs of torque. A new standard clutch was also fitted at this time meaning the car is very easy to live with day to day, the ride is not harsh at all and the suspension set up is very compliant. The suspension is upgraded to top of the range Bilstien PSS10 with a Geo set up by JAZ Porsche. Brakes are outstanding 2 Piece 340 Giro Discs all round. The brake calipers have all been refurbished and remain spotless as are the brake lines to the callipers, the front to rear brake lines are perfect and have just been cleaned and wax oiled as part of the last service to protect them. The exhaust is a complete stainless steel system from Design Tek, nothing obnoxious but sounds very nice when pressing on. The rear tips are quad tips from Fabspeed (£550 just for the tips) The interior is black leather throughout with the steering wheel, gear stick and handbrake all trimmed in alcantara by Dave the Trimmer to match the headlining. The OEM stereo is still present and the A/C blows ice cold. The gear shifter is a 997 GT3 short shift, which is simply sublime to use. The wheels are correct GT3 sized 18 inch Cargraphics 9s at the front 11s at the rear on Michelin PS4S tyres. Wheels have done almost no miles since being fully rebuilt by Voodoo Motorsport with new Radinox Stainless Lips and new hardware all round and resealed. The car features early door cards, centre console delete and extended black leather hardback turbo seats. A carbon ducktail has been professionally painted and fitted which also has the integrated brake light. Front bumper grill is fully protected with the Zunnsport kit. Porsche script professionally fitted down each flank. The car was fully inspected by Porsche Inspections in April 2021 and was given a full clean bill of health. Valid MOT until May 2025 with no advisories. Six month warranty supplied as standard and delivery available.
