The Aston Martin DBS was first introduced in 2008 to great acclaim and was the third all new Aston Martin to be hand built at Aston Martin’s purpose built Gaydon facility. This iconic car was designed by Marek Reichman and was built around an aluminium riveted and bonded VH (vertical-horizontal tub). This front/mid engined GT was fitted with an enhanced version of all new 6.0 V12 producing an impressive 510bhp. This engine coupled with the Touchtronic II gearbox, active ride suspension and all new carbon ceramic brakes meant the DBS was perfectly at home in city, open roads or racetrack. As with all hand built Aston Martins only the finest materials were used including carbon fibre which dramatically reduced weight giving a 0-60 time of just 4.1 seconds and propelled the DBS on to an impressive top speed of 191 mph.
