EXTERIOR

The Polar Silver paintwork presents with a deep lustre and a subtle ice-blue tint. The car looks especially good sitting on the factory optional 18-inch Carrera alloy wheels, all of which have just been refurbished to the highest standard by Lepsons. The body remains in great shape with no blisters or bubbling to any of the wheel arches or roof trims. There is a very light dusting of stone chips at the front end but the headlights are clear and without any discolouration. There are no scuffs or scrapes but a handful of small discreetly touched-in marks evidence the car’s honesty. Not a concours example but a genuine low mileage, low owner, and well maintained C2 in sought-after manual specification.

INTERIOR

Inside you’re greeted by a very smart interior in very dark Metropol Blue. The heated seats have worn very well indeed with only minor wear to the bolsters, and the upholstery is still notably soft. The steering wheel also retains an excellent grain to the leather although being really picky there are a few small marks around the rim and also to the gear knob, but certainly nothing untoward for the mileage. The cabin is lifted further with a contrasting Polar Silver centre console and we’re pleased to report that the original Porsche overmats are still present in the footwells.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

In the hands of only 3 careful owners the car has always been maintained to a great standard with important preventative maintenance such as the IMS bearing, rear main seal (RMS), clutch, and flywheel replacement having also been taken care of. The last service was carried out in February 2023 only 2,500 miles ago and more recently the car has been treated to new rear tyres and front brakes.

HISTORY FILE

This attractive and very useable example was supplied new by Porsche Centre West London in April 2003. It has now driven just 74k miles in the hands of only 3 owners. The current registered keeper of 10 years has driven the car regularly and has never allowed it to fall into disrepair by keeping it off the road for any long periods of time. The original Porsche book pack is still present along with a spare key, and there is a thick raft of invoices and MOT certificates on file to accompany the stamped service book. For the new keeper’s peace of mind the car has just passed an MOT with no advisories. Service history as follows:
