2011/61 Porsche Panamera Turbo in Dark Blue Metallic over Yachting Blue and Cream hide with Walnut trim.
Delivered new on the 11th of November through OPC Reading, this elegantly specified range topping model has been lovingly cared for by only 2 owners since registration, (both of which are known by Hallmarque).
Having been ordered not long after coming out of the 2008 recession, this Panamera was specified with clearly no budget in mind. The original order form is still retained in its history file and shows £20,000 worth of optional extra’s and a total list price just shy of £120,000 – the equivalent of £190k in todays money.
The colour combination is truly wonderful; sophisticated Dark Blue metallic with silver RS Spyder alloys and the must have ‘clear glass’, over a two-tone cabin made up of mostly cream hide – surrounded by contrasting Yachting blue leather and carpets. Not to forget the cream Alcantara headlining that makes the interior that extra bit more luxurious.
Both the exterior and interior condition is not representational of the cars age – the rear seats seem to have never been occupied and all switchgear and trim remains free from any excessive wear. This has to be one of the finest examples of a 970 Panamera.
Back to the options, and £20k worth of them – Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, Adaptive Cruise Control, Tracking System, Sport Chrono Package Plus, Sports Exhaust System, 20-Inch RS Alloys, Electric Sunroof, 3-Spoke Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel with Walnut Trim, Ventilated Front Seats, Porsche Crests on Front Headrests, HomeLink, Reversing Camera, Lane Change Assist and so much more.
All servicing has been carried out as per schedule, and up until the most recent service all by the supplying dealer. The last visit on the 15th of November 2023, with the odometer reading 48,660 miles. This was a major service with all fluids and filters changed.
Prior to us selling last year, a Porsche 111 check was carried out, with the only advisory being the brakes – all discs and pads have since been replaced.
Supplied with 2 keys, full owners manual, tracker fobs, original purchase documents and every service invoice from Porsche Reading.
In 2010, Porsche unleashed the Panamera Turbo, a remarkable four-door sports car that turned heads and sparked conversations worldwide. Straying from its tradition of manufacturing two-door sports cars, Porsche ventured into uncharted territory with the Panamera Turbo, aiming to cater to those seeking an unparalleled combination of performance and luxury without sacrificing practicality.
Porsche’s commitment to meticulous design is evident in every aspect of the Turbo’s aesthetics. Despite its four-door configuration, the car maintains Porsche’s signature sleek and athletic look. The elongated hood, aggressive front fascia, and distinctive sloping roofline exude a sense of dynamism even when the car is stationary.
Stepping inside is like entering a realm of opulence and sophistication. The interior is meticulously crafted, boasting premium materials, top-notch craftsmanship, and cutting-edge technology. Luxurious leather upholstery, ergonomic seats, and a driver-centric dashboard make every journey a pleasure. The rear seats offer ample legroom, ensuring that even passengers can relish the experience.
Beneath its elegant exterior lies the heart of a true performance beast. It’s equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 engine, capable of delivering a heart-pounding 500+ horsepower. This powertrain propels the Panamera Turbo from 0 to 60 mph in just over four seconds, a remarkable feat for a vehicle of its size and weight. Its top speed of 188 mph firmly solidifies its position among the world’s fastest sedans.
The Panamera Turbo of 2010 was no slouch in terms of technology either. Equipped with advanced infotainment systems, a premium sound system, and a host of driver-assistance features, the Panamera Turbo elevated the driving experience to new heights. Safety was a top priority, with the inclusion of various cutting-edge safety technologies to protect both driver and passengers.
