Built in the halls of the Köln Ford factory in Germany in November 1971 here we have, one of 256 RS2600s exported to France, it received its inaugural registration on March 8, 1972.

Restored in 2018 by Jordan Racing to Group 2 homologated competition specification, with an INIT Racing prepared Westlake V6 engine, ZF close ration 5-speed gearbox, Custom Cages Ltd. FIA roll cage, and utilising all of the knowledge and experience gained from being the third and final racing Capri prepared for the same owner.

2023 Le Mans Classic class winner and FIA HTP’s Valid Until 2029 makes this RS2600 an exciting entry to be at the forefront of Peter Auto’s ‘Heritage Touring Cup’ Motor Racing Legends ‘HTCC’ aswell as Equipe Classic Racing’s ‘70’s’ series.

Accompanied by its original French registration document, and confirmed by RS Capri Registrar Len Pierce, this not only offers a wonderful opportunity for its next custodian to take to the track, but they have the opportunity to re-register it on the road, opening up rallies like Peter Autos Tour Auto, and Modena Centro Ore alike.
