I am delighted to have the opportunity to offer this 1929 Austin 7 Model B “Works Coupe”.

The Works Coupe is really quite stylish, featuring the short body, lowline roof, special rake steering column, and the most unusual dashboard featuring a curved lower edge, allowing access to the gear lever and handbrake despite the body being lower on the chassis.

It is evident that this car has had a lot of care and attention in recent years, the body, interior, and running gear looking very fresh. As can be seen from the photographs, the paintwork and nickel plating are in very good order and the interior has been re-trimmed. The roof- lining and carpets are also new. The half sliding and half winding windows are rather fun—in fact, the whole car is both interesting and charming!

The Model B was in production from 1928 to 1931 and it is believed that only 529 were produced. Today it is understood that the total number of survivors numbers around 10.

This is an example of a really good looking and unusual Austin 7 which draws admiring glances and interest wherever it goes.
