Speed Broker are delighted to bring to market a vehicle that in our opinion cannot be matched or rivalled in terms of its condition and quality

The 944 Turbo (model designation 952) added a turbocharger and intercooler to the standard production 944, increasing horsepower to around 220hp - but even more importantly the car now boasted a claimed sub 6 second 0-60 dash, a feat in the mid 80s that was reserved for the very best in performance vehicles. The Turbo featured several other improvements in aerodynamics with changes to bumper, a strengthened gearbox and forged engine internals. The brakes also got an upgrade, with porsche borrowing the Brembo setup from the 911

This vehicle comes directly from an avid car collector who has owned the vehicle for the last 5 years. In his ownership its been covered and stored in heated storage for the majority of the time and for the last 4 years it has been off the road altogether, the reason for sale is simply as its not getting the attention it deserves due to other projects and it is now time for this very special car to find a new home with a collector or enthusiast. The previous custodian was a porsche fanatic who owned the car for a number of years. In this time it had various cosmetic improvements, all of which have been documented and was used to take part in concourse events and shows- including a win at NEC in the porsche national show

The car comes complete with a clean title, all history in various folders and files, documented photograph files, nearly all available MOTs and even tax discs in presentation folders, genuine porsche spares, manuals, workbooks, framed photos and much more. The care and prestige of this vehicle has been fastidious, and we can say with confidence this is the best 944 Turbo we have ever seen

General condition

The Car presents in what can only be described as "near perfect" throughout , the guards red paint in exceptional with no defects at all, no dents, paint issues or scuffs - you may be able to find the smallest of chips to the front end or with a magnifying glass, but there in nothing to report, the interior with its Sports seats in black leather are incredible for their age, with only very minor ageing to the leather as is expected. the carpets and trims are all complete and even the stainless kick plates are immaculate. Engine and underbody are in line with the rest of the car. The underside has been coated and in beautiful order and the engine bay is a true show piece. Please do note : we have been informed by the owner that the clocks were changed by Porsche as they failed - sometime around 1999, this does not show on MOT history online, but the vehicles paper trail supports this. We believe mileage to be around 85-90k approx - but please do note: There is none better than this car in our opinion, and please do not confuse this with cars at £20,000 - 25,000. It would take a huge investment to get those cars anywhere like this. The pictures don't do the vehicle the justice it deserves. If you like the 944 turbo, it doesn't get better than this opportunity. *** please note, as the car has been in situ the vendor would recommend that the cambelt is replaced, which has not been done and for your consideration
