EXTERIOR

The Rosso Monza paintwork is exceptionally well presented with barely a mark or blemish in sight. A lustrous shine is retained across every panel and there are no unsightly car park dings to report. The bumpers are perfect and the rubber seals are absolutely first-rate all round with no signs of age or perishing. Having always been carefully stored there is no fading to any of the deep red paintwork or matte black trims, which are again all immaculate. The 15-inch alloy wheels are unmarked and they’re shod in matching Yokohama tyres all round. Looking every bit the low mileage of just 23k we’re confident that this is the finest HF Integrale 16v available today. A truly stunning example worthy of any collection.

INTERIOR

Further testament to the car’s cosseted life since new, the interior is incredibly well preserved. The pale grey Alcantara is spotless and free from any of the bobbling issues found on higher mileage bolsters. The striped Missoni cloth is also really fresh and certainly adds to the retro feel of the interior. Unlike most Deltas still on the road today the fit and finish of this particular car is excellent with no damaged interior plastics or loose trims. The original steering wheel retains an excellent grain to the leather and we’re pleased to report the original gear knob is still in place having never been swapped out for a quick shift item. The headlining is unmarked and in the footwells the carpets are well protected by a set of tailored HF mats. An impeccable and highly original interior, the only upgrade over standard being a tasteful Becker head unit discreetly fitted in place of a tape deck.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

Barely run-in with only 23k original miles under its belt, the turbocharged 16v powerplant is as smooth as ever. She starts up first turn of the key, idles smoothly up to temperature, and sounds fantastic through the stainless Ragazzon exhaust. As with the rest of the car the engine bay is incredibly clean and tidy; even on close inspection there are no signs of any corrosion, accident damage, or previous poor repair – just as you’d expect for such low mileage example. Reading through the accompanying paperwork the car has clearly wanted for nothing having always been maintained to a very high standard.

HISTORY FILE

This beautiful HF Integrale 16v is one of only a few surviving UK examples, and with a mere 23,696 miles (38,135km) from new it’s a very rare find indeed. The car was ordered new through HR Owen in West London and was supplied to its first registered keeper, The Patrick Collection, in September 1989; amazingly the original order form and bill of sale are still present in the paperwork. The remainder of the History File comprises the original Lancia document wallet and handbooks, the stamped service book, an original 16v press pack, a thick raft of invoices and MOT certificates, two specialist magazines where the car was heavily featured, a spare set of keys, and the V5C showing 5 former keepers.
