Externally the car features a louvered bonnet and front fog lights while under the bonnet the XK benefits from a fully reconditioned 4.0 Litre (AJ-8) fuel injected V8 engine, an aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan, oil cooler, negative earth alternator electrical system, and stainless exhaust system.

Other performance enhancements include a 4 speed ZF Automatic gearbox with switchable traction control, JD Sport AP Racing 4 pot front calipers and 15 x 6J Stainless Steel wire wheels with Pirelli P4000 tyres.

An outstanding touring car originally built for an affluent Irish lady who covered some 12,576km from 2007 to 2018. JD Classics purchased TUT 83 back into stock and carried out a complete re-commission and re-paint. Purchased by its current owner in 2018 from JD and covering minimal mileage since still presenting in outstanding condition.

The base car for the conversion was a correct UK delivered 1959 XK150 RHD 3.4 MOD car.
