Our Mark VII is finished in its original colour combination of British Racing Green with Suede Green hide. It was delivered new via agents Henlys of London and built to order for Colonel Bruce John David Lunsden CBE & OBE Royal Marines - first registered 15th July 1955.
Some years later it was commissioned to be built to full period race specification. These works were undertaken by world leading experts Don Law Racing - in preparation for Goodwood Revival where the car would make it's first maiden voyage from restoration.
Having campaigned at Goodwood, this car is eligible for the St. Mary’s Trophy at the Goodwood Revival and also age Eligible for all major European historic racing events from the Mille Mileage, 24 Hour Le Mans and Tour Auto to name just a few. The most recent competitive event the car participated in was the famed 'Le Jog', Lands End to John O'Groats.

Under the current ownership (since 2004) the big MK VII has been maintained by Pearson Engineering - another highly respected marque specialists.
