De Tomaso has a number of models to its name but nothing says “De Tomaso” quite like its most popular model, the Pantera. Debuting in Modena in March 1970, it was sold in the U.S. between 1971 and 1974 and was the joint effort of Ford and De Tomaso to replace the Shelby Cobra and rival the Chevrolet Corvette and Ferrari Dino.
